Niagara Falls is one of the most beautiful and valuable phenomena of nature which has been a source of motivation, creativity, and imagination for world travelers, artists, filmmakers, and explorers. Niagara Falls is a name given to three waterfalls located close to each other at the border of Canada and United States. The three waterfalls are Horseshoe Falls, American Falls, and Bridal Veil Falls, where the former is located at the border of the two countries while the latter two are located towards the US side. Located on the Niagara River, the entrenching beauty of the waterfalls captivates the imagination of the visitors.
Ever since we embarked on our quest to journey the tourist’s destination around the world, almost everyone recommended us to visit the waterfalls of Niagara. The tourism and industrial importance of these massive waterfalls are incomparable to waterfalls in any other part of the world. Our adventure club made the plan of visiting the Niagara Falls in the month of March this year. The waterfalls can be visited from both Canadian and American sides and we first decided to visit the Canadian side.
Niagara Falls on the Canadian Side
Only Horseshoe Waterfall is located at the border of Canada and USA. More falls of Niagara are located on the American side of the border, which are conveniently viewable from the Canadian side. Since from this side, they are right in front, the visitors can enjoy a marvelous view. There are a number of other tourist attractions on the Canadian side of the waterfalls. There is a market on the way to the Niagara Falls, having restaurants, shopping chains, and tour guides. We found spectacular views on our way to the sightseeing place. The path to the sightseeing place is paved and easy to walk on which made our journey much more enjoyable.
Niagara Falls on the American Side
Two waterfalls of Niagara are located on the side of America as a state park in New York. We decided to park our vehicles a few kilometers away from the waterfalls and walk our way towards it. The path is slightly unpaved as compared to the Canadian side but more clean and scenic. We found more trees and natural habitat on the American side, which makes the experience even more captivating. You can view the Waterfalls Falls from many diverse angels and take Maid of the Mist (the under the falls boat) in order to enhance the experience. There are several walking trails on this side where you can take Broadway walk and observation tours.
We spent a few magical days on both sides of the waterfalls. Then we moved on to visit Victoria Falls in the heart of Africa.
