Our partnership (Big Chop) with Mountain Equipment Co-op has resulted in the acquisition of a fleet of sea kayaks and Stand Up Paddle Boards for paddlers of all levels.

Our Kayak / Stand Up Paddle Board Program is self-run. Members have access to the kayaks (both singles and tandems) and/or stand up paddle boards at their convenience . Experience with paddling in local waters and self-rescue must be each member’s responsibility as this program does not provide any coaching or supervision.

If you have thought of buying a boat but had nowhere to store it, or didn’t know what to get, this membership gives you the best of all options. Use our facilities and equipment and try out all the different boats!

All boats must be paddled from our location at the Burrard Marina. Over night trips can be arranged, but must be pre-booked with club management.
