The Mystifying Experience of Dubai Travel along the Desert Lines

We have been planning our Dubai travel since the beginning of this year but we kept putting it off due to the summer heat. Those who have traveled to the city or other parts of the Middle East complain about the extreme weather but the brandish and ostentatious nature of Dubai city attract millions of people from all parts of the world throughout the year. We planned our Dubai Travel visit in the month of October and we reached here in the third week.

Dubai is famous in the world as a brand city since everything here is unique, modern, and luxurious. It is a city of trendy and huge shopping malls, tallest buildings in the world, great food, beaches, sports, desert safaris, fountains, music and so much more. If there were one modern city for people of all tastes, it would probably be Dubai. We were lucky to hire the services of an expert Dubai travel guide who showed us all the parts and intricacies of the city during our stay here.

Dubai Travel Dining Experience

When you are traveling to another part of the world, the things that you may be most concerned about are the food and restaurants of your taste. Dubai offers the world’s best posh dining experience for people of all tastes. Restaurants and food outlets of all cultural foods and eateries can be found here. It offers both expensive and affordable food depending upon which one suits you the best. When fine dining can be found anywhere in the city’s luxury resorts especially at Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, more affordable food can be found on the street of Deira during Dubai travel.

Dubai’s Marvelous Infrastructure and Mystifying Desert

Dubai is a modern city with shopping malls and skyscrapers, which defy the heights of the sky. The tallest building in the world known as Burj Khalifa is located in the city of Dubai. Due to its significance as the greatest piece of infrastructure in the world, it was our first stop during the Dubai travel. It is a 160 story building which gives a magical view of the horizon when you look away from the top. The greatest view one can have from the top of Burj Khalifa is that of the rising sun. Dubai Marina is another tall building used for luxury residential purposes. The comfort of sandy stretches of Dubai Marina was the highlight of our visit.

We visited Palm Islands on the coast of Dubai, which are three artificial islands namely Palm Jumeirah, Deira Island, and Palm Jebel Ali. These are the man-made islands in the shape of a Palm tree. Currently, Palm Jumeirah has been completed successfully. There are excellent water parks, aquariums, and parachuting facilities. Jumeirah beach also offers a relaxing opportunity to the visitors after hustling around the city. Marsa Al Arab project is underway where two islands will be built on either side of Burj Al Arab.

Dubai Fountain is another great place where we saw the display of water jets reaching the heights of the sky on the beat of music and lights. The experience was mystifying and the city lived up to the expectations that we had while embarking on this journey.  You can know more about the top 5 things to see and do in dar es salaam Tanzania here.

Petronas Towers, the tallest twin towers in the World

Petronas Towers, the tallest twin towers in the World

The Petronas Towers are the tallest twin towers in the world and the individual tower
remained the tallest building in the world from 1998 to 2004. The towers are known in
the world under various names such as Menara Berkembar Petronas and Menara
Petronas. The towers are located in Malaysia in the city of Kuala Lumpur. Today, it is a
commercial building in the city with most of its floors dedicated for offices while it is
also a major tourist attraction in the world. The construction work on the towers had
started in the year 1993 while it was inaugurated in the year 1999. The design and
architecture of the building are a marvel of engineering and reflect the efforts of the
workers.
We were in Australia for the last couple of weeks traveling through different cities and
tourist destinations. After discovering most of this country, we decided to travel to
Malaysia, which is close by, and the flights are easily available. We reached here in the
first week of September and booked a hotel in the city of Kuala Lumpur. It is the capital
of the country and an iconic city. We had reached here in the evening so we decided to
go for a walk in the city. There is widespread commercial area gleaming with lights of
shops and malls. We spent hours walking in the city and we found that the city rarely
sleeps. When the fatigue of travel got to us, we went back to our hotel for rest.

Visiting the Petronas Towers

We had slept late at night so we kept sleeping until the afternoon. We refreshed and
spent a few hours planning for our night out today. Sun was setting when we were fully
prepared to leave for the Petronas Towers. Visiting the towers at evening is more fun
since, after office hours, most of the shops and shopping centers open in the evening.
We reached the towers’ building when it was gleaming in full lights. We went to the
park behind the towers, which has a beautiful waterfall and fountains. We spent an

hour relaxing in the clam of this place before we went to the front of the towers. We
took memorable pictures with towers in the background before going inside the
building.

Shopping in the Petronas Towers

Most of the shops and shopping centers in the Petronas Towers are occupied by luxury
brands while there are food courts for the food lovers. We went shopping and bought
clothes, shoes, and jewelry mostly from local brands. Things here are usually expensive
but of high quality. We also visited the sky bridge between the two towers and went to
the 86th floor of the building. The scenes from here are marvelous and a bird’s eye of
the city becomes a source of excitement. In the end, we went to the Petrosains, which is
a popular discovery center in the building.
This is a huge building with so much to discover and we had to come back the next day
in order to fully explore the magnificence of this place.

Things to Do in São Paulo, Brazil

Sao Paulo Brazil beach swimming

São Paulo has no shortage of amazing cultural sites, city vistas and green outdoor spaces. Art lovers may find themselves pulled in many different directions (there are multiple art museums throughout the city); culture hounds should definitely plan to stop in the Museum de Arte de São Paulo, Pinacoteca do Estado and Museum Afro Brazil to get a true feel for Brazil’s art scene.

Walking will likely be a big part of anyone’s visit to Sampa (São Paulo’s nickname) and visitors should take a leisurely stroll along Avenida Paulista, browse the goods and food at Mercado Municipal and enjoy Ibirapuera Park’s walking paths. Don’t forget to save some time to marvel at the city from a bird’s-eye view (at Edifício Italia) and to immerse yourself in Brazil’s favorite pastime at the Museu do Futebol.

Here are the top 5 things to do in São Paulo, Brazil. Shared by our friends at Bozeman Towing Service: http://www.buttetowing.com/bozeman-mt.html

1. Avenida Paulista:

Avenida Paulista is one of the main financial and cultural centers of the capital. It attracts thousands of visitors and tourists a day. In addition to having several options of shops and restaurants, it is also the home of São Paulo’s most famous museum, MASP. It also has several movie theaters and large bookstores.

2. Museu de Arte de São Paulo:

São Paulo has many great museums, but MASP is São Paulo’s best art museum. It holds the finest collection of Western art in Latin America and hosts fantastic temporary exhibitions. Tuesdays and Thursday evenings after 5 p.m. are free to the public.

3. Pinacoteca:

Designed in 1895, the building that now houses the ‘Pinacoteca do Estado’ was the first art museum in São Paulo. At the time it was built to house the Lyceum of Arts and Crafts, an institution that taught technicians and craftsmen. The structure of the museum itself is worth the visit. Exposed brick walls and a large, two-story atrium in the middle of the museum lets visitors enjoy the artwork under natural lighting.

4. Parque Villa Lobos:

Although much smaller and less famous than its older sister, Ibirapuera Park, Villa Lobos has one of the greenest settings in all of São Paulo. Here the crowds are not as large during the weekends. You can rent a bike and enjoy the native trees and plants. Some weekends on the ‘Musical Island’, an open air stage surrounded by concrete bleachers, bands and individuals play their songs.

5. Experience the city’s nicest architecture:

One of the 20th century’s greatest architects, Oscar Niemeyer, was Brazilian. There are several places where you can see his work in São Paulo. The most striking features of his work are curving lines (which he likened to a woman’s body) and creating the effect of defying gravity. These interesting buildings are a nice break from the seemingly endless white apartment towers so typical of São Paulo.
